Papallacta Lake Lookout
The eruption of the Volcano Antisana in the 18th century generated a lava flow that filled in the old glacier of the Papallacta River causing drainage to the Tambo River. This chain of natural events created the lagoon characterized by the dark tone of its waters. Its climate is cold and surrounded by reeds and pads
Guided walk through “La Isla” Path
It is a paved road that follows the path of the Cosanga River. The tour is accompanied by the singing of the different species of birds that live in the area of the páramo, and by the landscapes that the natural environment offers. To relax your body, you could soak in the crystal clear waters or take a break on the shore to enjoy nature
Free time 2 hours 30 minutes
Pools of the “Termas de Papallacta” SPA, access to vapor caves
It is the ideal place to take full advantage of the benefits of hot springs. Discover the circuit of the SPA, new sensations and enjoy its waters at different temperatures, receiving in each pool different types of massages through water jets and whirlpools
