Day 1

Ride The Swing at the End of the World

The famous swing is in the Treehouse (Casa del Árbol), and it is known because it is located on a precipice at 2.600 meters high. From there you can enjoy privileged views of Tungurahua Volcano and the lush nature that surrounds the sector. In the swing you will not only get an adrenaline rush and a great sensation of vertigo, but you will also be able to obtain the long-awaited photo where it seems that you are flying over a cliff.

Visit the natural thermal waters

Visit the nearby thermal waters that have given the name to the city, Baños (In English, “Baths”). In the thermal waters, you can have a relaxing bath in healing pools. In the city there are city hall swimming pools and private spas that have natural thermal baths. You can not miss this experience, you’ll relax like never before!

 

Day 2

Visit The Devil’s Cauldron Waterfall (Pailón del Diablo)

Baños de Agua Santa is well known for its waterfalls. One of them, is The Devil’s Cauldron Waterfall (Pailón del Diablo) which is located in Centro Turístico Pailón “Grieta al Cielo” (Touristic Center). The Devil’s Cauldron Waterfall is one of the largest and most impressive waterfalls in Ecuador. It is approximately 80 meters high and 20 meters deep. In this Touristic Center, you can also go through “Grieta al Cielo” which is a suspension bridge where you can admire the waterfall and the vegetation in all its splendor.

Tarabita Ride (Cable Car) over Pastaza River

You can not miss ride a tarabita over Pastaza River while you are in Baños. The tarabitas are mechanical baskets that slide on cables and transport you over great heights. While you are riding on it, you can get extraordinary panoramic views of waterfalls, mountains, and beautiful jungle landscapes.
