6. Market America#

Located on Venezuela and Buenos Aires streets, in the center of Quito, the traditional Mercado América is renowned due to its flower fair (Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday) and seafood fair (Thursday and Sunday). In this critical supply center of the capital, the products for the flower fair come from the greenhouses of Cayambe, Pifo, Machachi, Tabacundo, and Ambato, among other areas. While for the development of the seafood fair, seafood comes directly, especially from the main ports of Esmeraldas and Manabí.
